School/Beginner Danish for 5-17 Year-olds

The last day of the 2017/18 school year is Saturday June 2nd.

The first school day of the 2018/19 school year is Saturday Sept. 8th from 10-12. All classes take place at Scandinavian Living Center, 206 Waltham Street in West Newton.

The Danish school takes place on the following dates:

  • September 8, 2018
  • October 6, 2018
  • November 3, 2018 – Potluck Lunch
  • December 1, 2018
  • January 12, 2019
  • February 2, 2019
  • March 2, 2019
  • April 6, 2019 – Potluck Lunch
  • May 4, 2019
  • June 1, 2019

The classes will take place in the following way:

10.00-11.30: The students will be taught in teams (without participation of parents).

11.30-12.00: Different kind of activities (games, etc.), lunch and socialization in the Nordic Hall (parents and participants from the play group are welcome).

Kaffestugan is open from 11am to 3pm selling baked goods from the Danish Pastry House.

 

Fees and registration:

The tuition for one student for all 10 sessions includes books and materials. Registration AND payment should be received by Wednesday, August 22nd to receive Early Bird Pricing.

Early Bird:      

DSM Member: $130

Non-member: $170

Regular:

DSM Member: $150

Non-member: $190
